i've been making several smash brews over the past few months, i've used pale,MO,munich and vienna as the smash malts with various hops all with reasonable results, about 6 weeks ago i made a chocolate malt/fuggle smash which i tried a small sample tonight and it was disgusting, way to strong,not chocalatey at all like i was expecting.
do you think it will get better with age?
shame as i was looking forward to this one!
