Ok, second hitter, this one is Duchesse Cherry. I think I dated her once….. this one is a sour cherry ale, not sure if it has foeder lineage, 6.8% ABV. Not nearly the head, maybe 1/4” lasting under a minute.

Definite dark cherry vibe going on, this bottle had a bunch of chunky monkey going on despite being decanted

Ok brew, This is kind of a girlie sour, I think I prefer their Flemish Red… !

I haven’t been there in a year since we now have OH at Seneca one downtown Buffalo 🍻
It’s less than a 10 minute drive from my house. I don’t frequent it as much as I used to unless they have some beers I haven’t tried before. Today those were all new beers to me.

My all time favorite scotch

Anybody recommend an Islay single malt that is a step up from this? I was reading about Ardbeg Uigeadail which seems intersting. Never had it.

Bowmore has always been solid and a favorite standby for a good price. Their upper ranges are impressive too. They're low on the peat level tho

Lagavullin 16 is a good shout. Great all-round Islay expression that doesn't go too far into the realms of tasting like TCP or industrial degreaser.
