Kveik blonde ale carb test. Might need a few days but I’m bringing a few bottles for samples at my drafts tomorrow. I did much better at controlling the orange this time around. Now for the chill haze to disappear.

Another HB Best Bitter.
Hotel beer. $3.99 4 pack at a nearby liquor store. Not too bad… much better than the two examples I had at the local breweries.

Very good. There are a lot of the low ABv’s out there and I like this the best.
Paulaner Oktoberfest on the right, left is wife's from legend brewing, also Oktoberfest
Shower beer(Czech pils) on the right and richmond lager on the left. So far touring Richmond has been good. The veil and ardent yesterday and several on the list for today.
Summer showers on the right and slice of beer on the left.

Fizzy yellow liquid. 
Whenever I help my wife do her mom's shopping and spend the day fixing random things an 87-year old isn't going to get to, I get a 6-pack reward. Today is Swami's IPA from Pizza Port. YUM!
It’s like Lagunitas Daytime IPA only not as good. I think I’ve made beer that was better than this.

All said and done by 3 pm. Both briskets came out good but the smaller one had better marbling and was juicier. Now that the get together is over, I’m going to have some of the left over drinks brought

The Pilsners and Stout were from yesterday while camping at the family property without cell service.
We came home early this afternoon due to the rain. The kids were mixed on whether to come home early or stick it out, but they both agreed we should stop at the new brewery half way home so I could try a flight & get a growler filled.
Naples Brewing Company in Naples, NY. A session IPA (delicious & probably one of the better ones I’ve had recently), a NYS DIPA, a triple fruited sour (nice tart forward with a fruity backbone) and an IPA. Was pleasantly surprised and impressed with them all. Current draft menu picture below.
Then the OG NEIPA while waiting for take out dinner to be ready.
Post shift post brewday.

WCIPA at first. Pretty darn good but has an odd lingering after taste.
‘‘Tis the season. Paulaner Oktoberfest Märzen. Very nice. Wish I’d bought more than one.
