Was thinking more along the lines of ~5%, 50 ibu pale with simcoe and mosaic with some spruce. It tastes good just chewing it... i think some tropical flavors would round it out a bit.

Wouldn't say that but what I will say is I thought Pako's was a lot hoppier (both flsvor and aroma). It's mild and more malty as compared to the local stuff I am used to drinking. I don't brew IPAs that taste as malty as Pako's. Just my preference. But I wish I was able to find this beer locally. It's pretty mild and balanced, which is good.
