Well, after 4 weeks I decided to prime/bottle. Here is a short list of things that I have wondered about.

1) The odor from the fermenter was the same as when I cooked it.
2) There were many "Floaties" which looked like yeast.
3) Kit was a True Brew All Malt Pale Ale. Still quite cloudy.

I have been taste testing the last week. I think it will be a good batch! Taste like Sierra Nevada Pale Ale but not as bitter.

Thanks in advance for your feedback! Will be getting ready for my next batch!

Happy New Year!

Let it sit longer till everything settles, or try cold crashing to clarify it also. Otherwise that sounds pretty normal. If it taste good all is probably well.

Thanks BrewBoy!
Directions state to let it condition for up to 4 weeks after bottling.
Boy this waiting is not the addictive part of the hobby is it!!

Sometimes there are small particles floating. Long as you are low enough Final Gravity, prime and bottle. Sounds like you got a great first beer. Cold crashing is a winner if you can do it.

Get the next one going fast so that once the beer can be drank, you have enough of a pipeline so you don't run out.
