Anyone know a reason why top cropped yeast from the first full day of fermentation on a Barleywine would be a problem? It was pitched on a huge starter and was really active when I went to crop (still is given its only day 2 now ;) )

I'm thinking its fine since the alcohol % isn't really high enough to mutate / hurt things.

I scooped some foam off the top with a starsan cleaned spoon and got a huge amount of yeast in two jars. Was really shocked by how much settled out.
