The Killers' "Day and Age"

I try to like The Killers. Music is good, but every time that singer opens his mouth and lets loose that whiny voice I want to hit somebody. Find a new singer and I'm on board.

I dig on Brandon Flowers' voice; I think it fits the music really well. I like how this album combines the best parts of "Hot Fuss" and "Sam's Town" and leaves the weaker stuff behind. One guy I used to like a lot and now can't take is Adam Duritz from the Counting Crows. I loved their first few albums, but I can't listen to them anymore because he just gets whinier and whinier.

Haven't listened to it yet. I will get back to you tomorrow on that.

I did get my hands on an 'advance copy' of the new Franz Ferdinand and am very happy with it.
