While this is my first post, I've been lurking in the shadows reading for a while. With everything I've read and learned I decided to make the jump from extract to all grain after just two extract batches. Using some of the DIY posts as a blueprint I successfully made my own MLT using 10 gal rubbermaid coolers and a wort chiller from 50ft of copper tubing. Jay helped me out with a false bottom.

So far its been a rocky start, with efficiencies in the 50's, but i think I've figured out where I'm going wrong. I'm going to try again tonight and make BM's centennial blonde.

Just wanted to thank everyone here for all the knowledge you've shared with me.
