Hi all

I just got a new 4.5 cubic foot refrigerator to store my beer bottles that is all conditioned and ready to drink. My question is what is the best temperature to set the refrigerator so the beer will taste the best? Also is there a small keg that will fit in this refrigerator. I would love to try a small keg.

Thanks Roger

The temperature depends on the beer you have made as some are best quite cold while others will taste rather bland until they warm up a bit. Your own taste and expectations also influence this.

I always liked my beers cold until I tried a dark spiced ale that had set out on the kitchen counter for an hour and then was poured into a room temperature heavy glass that I'm sure warmed it even more. The flavors were so much more pronounced this way that I'm trying it with other beers too.
