I kegged, cooled, and carbed a hefeweizen, 25 psi on 15ft of hose, it poured great from tap but tasted thin, so I added some maltodextrin dissolved in boiled water. I shook the keg to mix and put back on gas and let set for three days in kegerator.

Now all I am getting is foam from tap.

any ideas of why this would be happening?

You have too short of a line for 25 psi. Generally you should have 1 foot of 3/16" ID line per 1 PSI. The solutions are either put a 25 foot line on or vent your keg until it's not over carbonated and set the PSI to 15.

When you first checked it may have been just right but the extra 3 days pushed it past what the 15 foot line could handle without foaming.

Edited.

I haven't had any issue on any of my other hefe's with this pressure and line length.

I used the 2psi pressure drop per foot as standard flow resistance.

What am I missing?
