Hi,
I just got a stir plate for use with my higher gravity brews specifically. How long is a starter viable for after it has been cold crashed? I am looking at doing a parti-gyle and using two different yeasts, but only have the one stir plate. Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated. I can always do a shaken starter for the lower gravity gyle, but would like to play with my new toy!

IMO, you can keep the crashed starter in the fridge for about a week or two before you need to consider starting it again, that's just my opinion, others may chime in differently.
