Hello All
I have done some searching on but have not found much about steeping Rahr Pale Malt . I am also steeping Victory and medium crystal and caramel 60L. This is for an IPA and was thinking of using the Rahr in place of the 60. I am using Sorachi Ace hops and want them to come through nicely. I am using NB gold exract. Any thought?

Pale malt doesn't have much character when steeped so its not going to do anything for you. Steeping is useful to get color and flavor from specialty grains (caramel/crystal, dark or roasted, etc) and pale malt isn't any of those things. So what's going to happen if you replace the C60 with pale is a lighter colored and lighter flavored and lighter bodied beer, because the pale malt has no character and contributes little when steeped.
