Which software do you use?
Just excel or is there any good program?

For what? For creating the recipe? Or just tracking?

I have a recipe template I use for all of my recipes and a template for tracking the fermentation. Very simple Google doc with temperature, ingredients, yeast type, nutrient additions, carbonation, tasting notes and so on.

I use beer home brewing software (pretty much any would do) to compute the original gravity, record my ingredients, and note keeping in general. After that it's a matter of judging how the ingredients fit together and having a good process, and I would be pleased to find software that was more cider (or mead) specific.

Beersmith is really good. I used Brewtarget for a long time but it seems development stopped on it.
