So I've passed on all my brewing gear onto my friend so he can continue the brewery while I am away. I head tomorrow evening for a week in Arizona visiting my best friend/girlfriend and then I fly out for 6 months in Germany.

I know I know, terrible beer and all, but I think i can manage. Just saying cheers to you all and look forward to talking beer again in a some months time.

Actually i'll be within an hour of Bamberg, i've never had a smoked beer so i am looking forward to the experience. Anyone ever live in Hesse? I've only lived in Bavaria and Baden, never that far north and am wondering what to expect.
