Sixtel kegs of any use?

I've got the opportunity to buy 4 of them at $10 a piece. Are they of any use?

since they're basically 5 gallons in size, you could use them for fermenters or for kegging your own beer.

I keg in Sanke kegs, so for me they'd be perfect for serving. YMMV

I'm already set up for cornies, so would it really be worthwhile to keg into them? ...wouldn't I need additional equipment.

I will look into using them as fermenters. Given their 5 gallon size, I guess they'd be relegated to secondaries?

You would need a separate tap for them, but the tap fittings and be adapted to accept the ball lock quick connects.

I like Sanke fittings better than corny posts. If you wanted to serve them, you would just need a D-style coupler, then attach your gas and beer lines to that.
