Shank bore

I am putting together parts for a 3 tap keezer using 650SS taps, and i am wondering what size bore (inner diameter) the shanks should have. I currently use picnic taps with 3/16 ID beer lines and plan on using the same ID lines. Would a shank with 1/4" bore cause foaming? Is it just a better idea to stick with 3/16" bore? am i overthinking this?

3/16 is ideal, but I have never had any foaming issues with using 1/4 bore.

1/4" is pretty common, that's what I have always had.
