We wave a walk in pantry that has been a good place to keep my Cider while it is in secondary. It is the corner out of they way but not out of the way enough. My six year-old went in to get something the other day and knocked out the stopper and airlock out of my 5 gallon carboy. The cider is in Secondary and has been clearing out very nicely.
It has been in there for 48 hours open to the world. I just found it when I did my daily check for clarity. We were gone yesterday otherwise I would have caught this sooner.
So has this ever happened to anyone else, did you see any negative consequences or any other issues??
