My father-in-law lives in Kuwait and told me that the best beer he ever had was a Savanna from south africa. After looking it up I noticed it is a cider beer, so what I am looking for is a recipe that would be pretty close to this beer for when he comes back home to the states. (cannot find this anywhere here.)

It's really a cider, I found it in the cider section in my local bevmo, came in an interesting shaped clear bottle. Not really my thing, had a strange farmy taste.

Reviving old thread. Did you ever find a good recipe? I've been jonesing for a Savanna Dry after spending some time in Namibia a few years ago.
