I'm Mike and I'm a new new brewer and vintner. I just started my first 6 gal. batch of white wine and 1 gal. beer kit. The brewing roots go deep, my Dad was a West Virginia moonshiner and also made some of the best beer I ever tasted. Unfortunately when he passed he took all his recipes with him, he never wrote anything down or kept logs. Me and my brothers were just helpers and fetchers and didn't really pay any attention to the finer points, for me I was more interested in huntin and fishin. I'm now almost a senior citizen and my hunting days are pretty much over, bad knees and now find myself drawn to this new hobby. I look forward to learning from your knowledge and help on this new venture.
