rusty washer in mash tun

Ok so i built my mash tun saturday and used what i thought were stainless steel wasthers. After i brewed on sunday and was cleaning up i noticed the washer on the inside of the mash tun and the screws to the stainless steel hose clamps were rusted!!! Are there washers out there that will not rust? what do others use? and what about the screws in the hose clamps?? will this amount of rust hurt the brew?

I'm sure the beer is fine. I am will to bet the rust only came off when you took the items apart. They make stainless washers etc. I would check brewers hardware.

I used zipties for the attaching the braid. Ace Hardware is a good place to get the stainless steel washers. Thats what I've used in mine and I haven't seen any rust yet.
