I purchased one of these so I could connect two corny kegs to my co2 bottle:

The problem is the gas-out hose barbs on it are 5/16" and the barbs on the gas fittings on the kegs are 1/4". They say you can use standard commercial 5/16" gas hose and just over tighten the hose clamp on the keg end, but that hasn't worked very well for me.

What I'd like to do is replace the 5/16" gas-out barbs on the splitter with 1/4" barbs so I can use 1/4" hose. The picture below shows the two pieces I want to replace:

Does anyone know the size of the brass fitting I would need? I found this one and e-mailed morebeer about it, but they haven't responded yet:

If it were me I'd use the 5/16 barbs with 1/4 tubing. It fits tight ensuring you don't have leaks. Just dip the tubing in hot water for a bit to soften it.
