Marking genius! Hmmm.. "how do we sell ski gogles year round and where there is no snow?" "We remove the strap, lens holder and gasket then add sun glass frames!" Brilliant !!! Yep little sking in Ohio, but I bought into the marketing hype.

I'm not going to post pictures of this, because this is a "family show." But here's one for ya;

Remember when women in pornography actually had PUBIC HAIR?

Those were the days.

How do guys look at porn these days and not feel like some kind of pedophile?

Of course I remember this... I probably end up watching it about once a year.

Oh man I haven't see that one in so long!!!

Also:

KILL DA WABBIT! KILL DA WABBIT! KILL DA WAAAAABBIT

And one of my all-time favorites, "The Rabbit of Seville" (sorry it's crappy quality):

As I child I'm pretty sure Looney Tunes were my biggest exposure to classic music. It makes me sad they don't play old Looney Tunes anymore because they're "too violent" or because Bugs cross-dresses sometimes. If the latter is the case, let's completely eliminate British/Canadian humor as well!!!

And speaking of Canadian Humor:

I CRUSH your head

Roller Derby is still alive, believe it or not. And now they do flat-track which is even more hardcore.

Yup, I was just at the Detroit Derby Girls Jam on Sat.

I actually collect Beer Pints from the matches I go to.

Usually in Michigan, they have a pretty decent craft beer selection at the Jams. I was drinking Ghetto Blaster on Sat.

I keep forgetting to check out the roller derbies! I know TC has a team and I think there is more than one in GR. My wife is even interested in going since she saw "Whip it" with the Juno girl.

I had this too !!! This is mouse trap isn't it ?

Yup Mouse Trap it is. That game was the inspiration for many childhood contrations. The stuff you could do in the living room with some dominoes, matchbox car tracks, marbles, golf balls and anything else we could find in the toy box.

If I ever had this and really did fall, regardless of how much pain I was in, I would do everything I could to NOT say the infamous line... "uh... I've... Uh... Decided to slip on the floor, and I ah... Well, I need someone to help me... "
"sir, are you trying to say that you've fallen, and you can't get up???"

(so ashamed) "yes..........."

Good dog.

Local pub and brewery has "Ubu Ale" as their signature beer. Check it out: http://www.ubuale.com/

:off:I personally do not care for their beers. They all have a weird twang to them, and no matter if I have 1 or 5, I'm horribly hung over the next day. Lots of other people have said the same thing. The other thing that bothers me is their slogan: "Real Town, Real Beer". Just what in the f*ck is that supposed to mean? Seriously, WTF does that even mean?!?

are there any artificially created towns nearby? you know, like the one that indiana jones was in when had to hide in the refrigerator from the A bomb? wow that sucked.

I've been to Placid many times...as far as I know it's a real town. The beer isn't too bad, I enjoy the 46er Pale Ale, granted I've had better, and Ubu was my beer of choice while living in Potsdam, granted it was the equivilent of Natty Ice in that town, but at least it has some flavor. I still remember 10¢ progressive nights at Backstreets using Ubu, you'd stumble out completely plastered for less than two bucks if you drank fast enough.
