I think combinations of beer and wine are illegal in 35 states ;-)

I'm not a big fruit beer fan, but there is no reason grapes couldn't be used.
 
Interesting...I was thinking of doing some sort of 1 gallon batch of beer & use some Port wine. strong & sweet...I would guess it could come out like using wine concentrate. no time now, but its nice to know it wasn't too crazy of a thought
 
I've done a couple sour beers with red wine grapes or juice. Turned out well. Cantillon, Russian River, Captain Lawrence, and Drie Fonteinen have all have done excellent sours with wine grape as well. I don’t really care for the non-sour ones I’ve had from other breweries.
