Unfortunately, 22 gallons of beer per year sounds pretty low for most of us around here..
the AHA survey in the 2018 January/February zymurgy magazine has the total homebrew per at 43.5million gallons. It appears to be based on 1.1milllion American homebrewers and an average 8.3 5gal batches a year. So the average AHA card carrying homebrewer brews about double that 22 gals, the survey did not mention how much they actually drink them self.

Hm. Did not check the math on that joke. Averaging 16.7 pints/week ia a pace of 108.55 gal/year. Ufta. Gives an mpg of 8.29. We had a Suburban that only got 8 mpg in the 70s. I kinda look like a Suburban. Without the extra A/C unit in the back.

That explains the following ....

1) The saying "Man, get in your hole!"
2) The saying "Fighting with one arm tied behind you back."
3) Why Germans are into bondage, sadism and masochism.
4) Why the bars have hotel rooms.
5) Why they have youth hostiles.

If that's was still the means to settle arguments

A) I'd have to have a hole in my living room.

B) I'd only have styrofoam rocks and Walmart plastic bags in the house.
