If you're using Chrome, the tab making noise is the one with the little speaker icon on it. You can just right click the tab and choose "Mute site" to make it be quiet.
 
you may have heard of the wildfire smoke in Seattle - here's what I saw out my window during takeoff about 2 hours after sunrise on 20 Aug 2018:

The auto-corrected brightness of this iPhone captured image doesn't accurately reflect just how eerily dark it actually was. I'd have thought sunrise was still 45 minutes away while we were taxiing from the gate

It was bad. I was up sailing with some friends last week around the San Juan Islands and a few days we were lucky to see be able to see a mile out, which is no fun when you are crossing a busy shipping lane in a sail boat doing 5 knts

Back in the 60s I had a friend name "Flick". He showed me how how spelled it with an upper case "L": FLICK.

I've been spelling it that way ever since...upper case, for the reason you already know.

Like a paid porn streaming service. Not sure that NETFLIX kids channel is a sound idea.

That's almost as bad as letting my father order fajitas at a Mexican restaurant.

He orders "The Steak Vagitas"... The waitress goes "Say what?" and looks all bug eyed at the dirty old man.

Might be good to marinate out of date chicken, sour it a bit, then dredge it with bug ridden flour (makes it kinda crunchy), dipped in some whipped rotten eggs, and then rolled in some stale salteen crackers...

Yum...
