Questions about Brewers best cider house select kit

I picked up one of these kits today to try my hand at cider again, and I had some questions. I just got the regular Apple kit. 1)What is the starting gravity of a six gallon batch if you follow the directions and add 2 lbs of dextrose? 2) if it ferments out completely and you add the artificial sweetener that comes with it does anyone know what the specific gravity it will end up being at? I only plan on making 5 gallons out of the kit, so I am trying to figure out what adjustment I need to make to keep it around the correct abv. Any help anyone can give me would be great. Thanks
 
Shouldn't it all be proportional? Use 5/6 of everything (except the yeast) to scale it down to a 5 gallon batch. Or just mix up the entire 6 gallons and dump a gallon down the drain. :)
