But ehm...malt, hops, water and yeast. What's additives are in Bud Light that don't make it a "purity" beer? I'm not an American and have drank Bud on many occasions to my dismay

That is awesome. My 3 year old likes to check on the bubbling airlocks every morning. I haven't taught him about purity law, but he now knows that it's not done fermenting just because the bubbles have stopped. He may also know my usual hop schedule, because he's usually the one that adds them to the boil. Apart from that, he just enjoys splashing around with all the pre-mash and clean up water.
