My search for a professional grade manual bench capper for my 29mm crowned 750s has proven to be tougher than I expected. Most bench cappers our there are plastic, which is fine, but most have a con or two that I don't like...

With that being said, here is what I have found with the two that we currently own, and I am hoping that someone can maybe chime in with recommendations for a different one that I don't know about...

Colonna Capper/Corker:

We've probably bottled 500 cases with this capper. The reason that I am looking for an alternative is because it leaves an annoying indention in all of our caps and the handle is just pressed into the plastic. Of course, that only lasted for a 100 cases or so before we managed to pull the handle right off. Benefit of this capper is that it is great at capping. The caps are fully crimped, and look great, other than the annoying dimple in the top.

Super Agata:

Got this in today, and I am already going to send it back. The self adjusting height isnt the greatest and the capping quality is poor. It doesnt fully crimp the cap like the Colonna and would take a couple of crimps per bottle to get the cap tight enough to where I can't turn it by hand.

So, this is where search started and this is the best thing I have found so far:

Anyone have experience with this one or another, heavy duty, manual capper?
