I frigged up and forgot to get priming sugar on my last trip to the homebrew shop. Have a cranberry rye ready to bottle in preparation for the holidays. Any ideas? Maple syrup? Honey? I am bottling 2 half gallon growlers and kegging the rest. If you have a suggestion, please note your dosage rate too.

Thanks!

Table sugar's fine because of its small amount. I've also used honey with great success (though you have to use something like 15-20 percent more by weight).

I went with an oz. of mollasses for both half gallons. I figure the cranberry (remember this is a cranberry rye) will go well with any lingering mollasses flavors.

two good links above - thanks again guys.
