I just put a Wizard's Wheat into the primary. This is 6th extract kit. My timeline is as follows.

1. 10-14 days in the primary
2. 14-20 days in the secondary
3. Rack and bottle.
4. bottled for at least 28 days

I have noticed a lot of threads where people are no longer racking to the secondary and just allowing for additional time in the primary. What are the advantages of this and what are my disadvantages of racking to the secondary?

Did you look for the answer or just post a question that has been discussed about a billion times? Try the search option up top...tons of information already available.

ill save u some time. yep leve it in your primary unless you need to transfer off one flavor to another. like if your using fruit or want to add oak chips or something. try it both ways see if you can notice a difference or anything.
