Prancing Pony sign

I recently bought a CNC router, and decided that my first major project with it should be something for my bar. As I am a fan of the Lord of the Rings movies, I decided to make the sign from the Prancing Pony Inn.

After 6 hours of running, this is the result. It is 15”x20” and carved from a pine panel. The top right corner was lacking some detail because a bit of sagging in the center of my machine bed, but happy overall with the result.
I then gave it a light sanding to remove any large burrs or splinters, but decided to leave most of the cuts as they came off the machine to give it a somewhat hand crafted look. Then it was time to paint. This is the final result.

Probably could have decreased the time a little by playing with my toolpaths, but still learning and was pretty conservative with my cuts and speeds.

It is hanging on the door of the room that I converted to my bar, so another picture would just be of the rest of the door. However I did do a thread on my keezer build a while back which shows my basic layout. Not at home at the moment to take a recent picture.
