Looking to do a parti-gyle this weekend. Want to pull a barley wine from the first runnings. Ingredients are based on what I happen to have on hand. Looking for opinions/ideas on the following:
-Will the grain bill / hops / mash schedule fly for a barleywine (I've never brewed one before)
-Ideas on what to make from the second runnings
-Possible OG I might get from second runnings

The pale 2-row I have is Maris Otter-like. It's made of really fresh locally grown and malted barley (here in the NY and Mass.).

I also happen to have a bunch of washed WLP090 (San Diego strain) on hand.

90 min boil

Grain bill
90.5% pale 2-row
4.8% victory
2.4% crystal 120
2.4% caravienna

First runnings OG estimate - 1099

Mash schedule
Sacch rest @ 154 for 70 mins / batch sparge

Hops for first runnings
36 IBU warrior @ 80 mins
17 IBU warrior @ 70 mins
2.5 IBU east kent goldings @ 5 mins

Thanks for any pointers!!

Keep your first runnings in batches so if you won't hit your target SG with the whole running volume you can drop some of the tail and reach your gravity with a smaller volume.

Take gravity readings regularly during the sparge.

Keep all your lower tailings for some great session beers but if you oversparge you might get astringency.
