Hey all,
A buddy and I are still beginners. Our first three batches have all been pretty promising but this fourth one we hit a snag.
We pulled recipe off this site ASAMOF that was a pub ale that is supposed to to be in the Boddingtons ballpark. Well we didn't follow the recipe and forgot to toast the grains. So now it's in the fermenter but it has a very weird color to it. Almost like caramel.
Does this sound like a lost cause? Is there something we can do at this point to save it or should we just chalk it up to poor reading comprehension?
