Ever have one of those days that you go to work at 5 a.m. and the backup server crashed....you then do a hard reset only to realize you just reset the wrong server? Gave me a chuckle when I realized this.

You're a better man that I am, then. I've done things like that (usually involved bringing down the production server when I meant to cycle the one in the test environment) and laughing was definitely not my first reaction.

Well, after it happened the deed was done. So getting mad at myself wasn't going to do anything. Plus, I am the only one in at that time of morning so it was just a matter of bringing it back up and no one was the wiser.
The best time to screw up... When nobody is there to see it!

I actually realized it while still holding the power button. I released and hoped that I didn't hold long enough to trigger the power off.
Hopes = crushed.
Oh well, the day only went uphill from there.
