one co2 tank, two sanke kegs

I have a kegerator, with a 5lb co2 tank and a regulator. It is safely in my room and id rather not move it. When we have parties, id like to use co2 instead of a party tap so if we dont kill the keg we can throw it in the fridge and use it later. I was thinking maybe i could get a splitter from the kegerator and run the air hose through a window to the keg on the other side of the wall. Would that work fine?
