I made a hoppy american red saturday, and the krausen looked fairly normal for a while, but now that it is settling down, it has a weird green tint to it and the bubbles are shiny and almost soap-looking.
Is this something that happens in hoppy beers? i can't compare it to my imperial IPA, because that has leaf hops floating on top of it dry-hopping and the krausen isnt really visible
advice?
