Nova Scotia style? Brown Ale.

Saw some Alexander Keith's (Est 1820) Nova Scotia style Brown ale and bought a sixer, never heard of Alexander Keith's or Nova Scotia style brown ale. The bottle looks suspiciously akin to Michelob's bottles without the Michelob script, Hmmmmm, anyone know anything about this?

Alexander Keith's was bought out by Labatt/Anheuser–Busch InBev years ago. Brewing has moved to Ontario and its far from the beer it once was.

Halifax has a few good micro breweries, Garrison and Propeller being the bigger ones.

Moosehead has some ties to Halifax as well but is based out of NB.
