Normal? Bottled 2 days ago, already fizzy?

I bottled Saturday after 17 days in the fermenter. SG was stable. Used the recommended amount of bottling sugar.

So I opened one today to use in a marinade and that thing was fizzy! It flowed over the top of the bottle when I popped the cap.

Is this normal? Also I felt my PET bottles and they're quite hard, no give to them really to speak of, normal? They're in a wooden chest in the kitchen, where it stays right around 70.
 
Mine didn't act as bad as the first bottle at 5 days so yep looks like this is normal then!

My chicken's on the grill after marinading in the beer and seasonings all day :)
