I almost can't believe it. NHC is coming to Grand Rapids, MI in 2014! I have yet to make it out to one of these, but I can't wait.

The good news is that it's not scheduled to run over my wife's birthday. The bad news is that Grand Rapids, Michigan is pretty damn far away.

Yes, I heard about this months ago from someone who shall remain nameless. I am exstatic because I have also really really wanted to attend one of these and the travel costs was always an impediment.

The only thing that would keep me from attending in 2014 would be my own funeral.

I would have never predicted that. I guess I'm just a little bit glad that the West coast folks have to suffer for at least one more year after all those 5 hour flights I've made.

I may have to attend that one. The last one I went to was in Portland in 1993.
