Just wanted to get my first post out of the way.
Last Christmas, my room mate got a Mr. Beer, and I had this nagging urge for a while to look into homebrew, so I decided to one up him, and go to my LHBS, and get a full kit, and brewed an Irish Stout. Regardless of numerous issues (pitched yeast too hot, boiled too long, used bleach as sanitizer), all 5 gallons went at a party with many compliments.
Excited with that, I've bought 2 carboys, and another bucket, and I'm working on 3 new brews already, 2 Hefes (Wanted to try 2 different yeasts) and an IPA (Gonna be used for a gift). I've also bought the Oyster 5cf fridge to convert to a dual tap kegerator for our bar in the main room (Will post more on that when I do the conversion).
Been lurking and reading a lot of threads here, but I'm ready to start posting too.
