New grain hoist actually works

I made this from some junk I had in the shop. It actually worked the first time

The hardware I used is for sliding "barn door" that I decided not to use. It was rated for 200 lbs so it handles the grain with ease. It will roll to side with very little effort. I should have used a winch the hoist raises and lowers a little too fast but otherwise I love it. I don't have to use the death ring that was designed to hold the basket anymore

It looks like there's a lot of excess cable wound up on that hoist given the task. If the hoist is now dedicated to bag lifting duty you could shorten the cable to just what is needed which will reduce the effective radius and thus significantly slow down the movement...
