New from Western WA State

Hello All,

I just joined in. Bought two books, "How to Brew" and one on hops gardening. i have an extensive garden now and want to grow my own hops.

Looking forward to a lifelong hobby.

BM (for BierMuncher) - where are you located?

I am interested in growing hops too, but I was worried about determining how hoppy they are and how much I would want to use? Is there some way to determine this?

Also, is there a regional thread or section on this site? That would be cool since there are so many WA State homebrewers - and often a lot of the discussion resolves around local issues, stores, climates, craigslist, local beers, etc...

Oh yeah- welcome to the group! - I am a newbrew too.
