I'm planning an IPA tomorrow, would like to keep it in the 7% 70ibu range. Hops I have on hand are; Simcoe,Amarillo, Magnum and Cascade. How would use these hops? Cheers!!

Definitely Magnum for the bittering charge... 60m or FWH

Maybe Simco at 5m or flameout

Amarillo & cascade during whirlpool

Amarillo and/or cascade dry hop

I've not used all Simcoe/Amarillo/Cascade together before, but it should work.

I often use Magnum for bittering an Cascade for Flavor/Aroma, though. Can't go wroing there.

Simcoe is nice for bittering as well. You can do a 20 or 30 minute addition with it, still get some flavor contribution and round out the "cattiness" people sometimes get from it, plus take advantage of it's alpha. Magnum obviously is great early. Amarillo and cascade are in the same ball park. I would probably smell them and see if I prefer one over the other or do equal parts for late addition and dry hop. If you have the oil specs for the hops I would go heavier dry hop with whichever one has the best oil content for their particular harvest.
