I've been looking for a few days now and can't make up my mind. Please help me out:

1.) Has to be an ale. I've got cooling but can't do lager.
2.) Partial to the Hefe/Wheats. I've also got blackberries, blueberries and peaches kicking around, but not married to the idea. I'd love a nice hazy, glowing glass of lacy head goodness, fruit not required. (I love a great color)
3.) ABV should be between 6-9% I want to go out with a bang.
4.) I'm a BIAB kind of guy.

Please please please help me make up my mind. I've got to hit the brew store tomorrow by 2PM!

Maybe try this:

50% Pils
50% Wheat

Columbus for bittering
Amarillo and Centennial for aroma

Use some American Hefe yeast

Should be a good drop for the warmish days/cooler nights at the end of summer.

Cheers!

Try a Weizenbock ... get the malty weizen character and 8%-9% ABV!

Wheat 50%
Munich 20%
Pilsen 15%
Crystal 10% (40-80L)
Character Malt 5% (Aromatic/Cararoma/Biscuit)

Mash 152-F
Bitter with Perle or similar to about 20 IBU..

Bavarian Yeast, start in low-mid 60's ... let raise after krausen falls.

:mug:
Ymmmmm :)
