Like everyone else, i have a spark of imagination for a good brew.

However, doing some moderate searching via google i cannot find a brewing site that offers chamomile and hibiscus herbs for brewing.

Could anyone lend a hand?

The companies who make the teas for hibiscus/chamomile dont put any hidden preservatives in there to they?

i cant grow anything right now, my basement is a full greenhouse for marijuana

kiddin!

I'd guess that most herbal products would be simply dried, and preservative free. However, it never hurts to check the label or fine print.

MySpiceSage.com has them. I got some Grains of Paradise from there a lot cheaper than any HBS. I got 4 ozs (100+ grams) for about $8. I think HBSs sell them for something like a dollar a gram.

I just checked them, and they have free shipping on orders over $10, and 8 free vanilla beans on orders over $20. I might have to look into brewing an hibiscus beer; thought about it some time ago, but never did it.

awesome. thanks dude!

I did a hibiscus wheat not too long ago, if you've got any international grocery stores nearby (Caribbean, Latino or Asian) you may have some luck there. I got some dried hibiscus at a Mexican grocery that was $6/lb! Be aware though, in Spanish it's called "jamaica"
