Moving kegged beer from one keg to another?

Could I move the remaining beer from a 15.5 gallon sankey keg over to homebrew keg? I REALLY need the space in the fridge so I'm thinking of hooking up the output directly to a corny keg and holding the relief valve open as I fill up the keg.

Thoughts?

yes. i would first purge the receiving keg with CO2, then do as you said and burp the receiving keg as you transfer.

Yep, and make a jumper so you can fill through the out post on the corny keg to minimize splashing.
