Ok I did a Mush run with my FrankinRIMS and was looking over my notes and the Temp / times look a bit off.

I had my Omega Controller set for a step mash On/Off. Havent figured out the PID settings yet
but the temps laged a bit
the ten segment run was
1. 95* for 10 min
2. ramp to 113* (time to temp about 5 min)
3. hold for 10 min
4. ramp to 135* ( time to temp 8 min )
5. hold for 15 min
6. ramp to 143* ( time to temp 10 min )
7. hold for 30 min
8. ramp to 154* ( time to Temp 12 mins )
9. hold for 60 min
10. ramp to 168* mash out And Sparge

I noted that the ramp times were a bit long. Should I ajust the hold temps a bit shorter or get a bigger RIMS tube or go to SRIMS
with only water I get a 18* rise in 4.5 min. the RIMS tube i use I think is 1500 watt 110v
I don't think my Efficiency is up to par. BeerTools but my OG at 1.060 but i only got 1.052 want to do better but not sure if i can. I malt my own grain so that plays a big part there too.

Ok that must be for the PID part of the controller I was not useing that just On/Off. So to increse the Ramp I guss i need to get a bigger RIMS Tube like a 2500 or maybe go to 220v.
