Lubrication for o- rings

Recently got a ball lock keg from keg

My iPhone sent that before I was done, sorry about that. I purchased a ball lock keg from keg connection. They say they clean the keg in a three step process and lubricate the o rings. Do you think I should clean it again with c- brite to be safe? Or just sanitize it and fill it? It was still wet inside from being cleaned. Also, my local home brew supply doesn't have keg lube, is there an alternative I may be able to buy at grocery store ?

yeah clean it again for sure. You can get any petroleum jelly. There really is no difference.

For as cheap as the lube they sell for o-rings is I would just buy some. One container would liast you most of your life.
