Pretty bad reviews on that Amazon link. They look like the same product, but I see lots of buyer beware reviews.

Not sure about the lids to those. I've purchased replacement corny keg lids from Morebeer with great luck, but yeah, they aren't cheap.

fwiw, the Northern Brewer posts are not stainless steel, they are anodized aluminum.
The MrBrew posts otoh are 304 stainless.

As for the kegs in question, are there any manufacturer labels etched into them that might provide a hint what their respective post thread sizes are?

From Corny Keg Thread Sizes:

Here is a listing of the kegs by manufacturer and the threads associated with those kegs:

Firestone V Challenger, Firestone VI Challenger, Firestone Super Challenger
Gas 9/16"-18
Liquid 5/8" -18

Cornelius Spartan & Super Champion
Gas 19/32" - 18
Liquid 19/32" - 18

Cornelius R (pin lock)
Gas 19/32" - 18 (2-pin)
Liquid 19/32" - 18 (3-pin)

John Wood 85, Firestone Challenger
Gas 11/16" - 18
Liquid 3/4" - 18

Firestone A, Firestone R, John Wood RA, John Wood RC (pin lock)
Gas 9/16" - 18 (2-pin)
Liquid 9/16" - 18 (3-pin)

Cheers!

Those kegs with race track style lids are a unique beast.

Regular oval Cornelius lid o-rings won’t work.

You can get a replacement (including new lid) “rebuild” kit here.

If I understand correctly, they use the “small” lid o-ring. Available for much less if that’s all you need. O-Ring for Small Race Track Keg Lid

I’d be a little leery of the PRV on the one lid.
The bigger keg appears to be a standard pin lock Coke keg. The static relief valve in those lids are getting harder to source and can be quite pricey when you can find them.
Are those kegs a smoking deal?

With that many available, I wonder what kind of mixture there actually is?

thanks they are a steal but looks like they will be a headache
with shipping comes out to just 22 $ per keg for the little ones

Even if you have to refurbish them, that’s still a pretty good deal. I think I paid close to $80 for the last 3 gallon pin locks I bought 3 years ago.

yes it is a good deal even with replacement parts but im afraid the parts wouldn't fit or would be too hard to come by . still tempting tho i usually pay 80 plus for 2.5 to 3 gallon kegs
