I'm getting ready to brew a fruity blonde ale, I'll post my recipe below.

6lb extra light DME
12oz CaraPils/Dextrine
12oz Caramel/Crystal Malt
.5oz Riwaka hops
.5oz Summer Hops
1pk WY1450
1.5lb peaches
1.5lb apricots
1.5lb oranges(all fruit pulsed in a blender, lightly, then brought to 150° to pasteurize before addition)
2 Madagascar vanilla beans, scraped and soaked in vodka for a few hours to sterilize

Steep grains for half hour
Boil for 60,
Riwaka @45
Summer @20

Primary for 2wk
Secondary for 2wk(add vanilla at start of secondary, add fruit at 1wk of secondary)
Bottle for 2wk

My big question here is, is this going to be too much vanilla or fruit, or should I add them at a different time? Has anyone done anything similar to this that they can lend some experience from?

Yes all of that fruit will overpower the beer. You probably would lose the vanilla taste also . I would imagine that the fermenter would have a huge amount sludge in the bottom also. I would think the flavor would be a muddled mess. Now that said if you want to do it go for it, It might be great!:mug:
